It’s official: the Tremors TV reboot will not go forward. Kevin Bacon broke the news on his popular Instagram with a shot of severed, vintage bobble heads of his character Valentine McKee. “Sad to report that my dream of revisiting the world of Perfection will not become a reality,” Bacon published. “This is the only character I’ve played that I’ve ever thought about revisiting. I just got to thinking, where would this guy end up after 25 years?” Bacon said when the news first broke. The Tremors pilot was supposed to take place two decades after the 1990s comedic horror film that found its cult classic success when it hit the home video and the rental market. Originally, Bacon co-stared with Fred Ward and Reba McEntire in the first Tremors directed by Ron Underwood, but he never returned for the numerous sequels and straight-to-video iterations about the relentless graboids.
